A petition for Electronic Arts (EA) appeared on change.org requesting a refund for the purchased game Battlefields 2042.
According to the petitioner, the game has cost its buyers millions of dollars because the game is a disappointment and remains unresolved, as quoted by us from Techspot.
This petition was created about a month ago, but the number of signatories has only increased significantly in recent days, reaching 85 thousand. The reason is, according to the creator, EA and DICE (the publisher and developer of Battlefield 2042) did not fulfill the promises they made after Battlefield 2042 was released, and made the game unplayable.
Oh yes, the petitioner also claims that one of the best class action lawyers in the United States will sue EA if the petition has received at least 50 thousand signatures.
As previously reported, Battlefield 2042 buyers deserve to be disappointed with this game made by EA. The reason is that since it was first released until now, the game is filled with various problems and incomplete features.
In fact, this game immediately shot up to the Steam Hall of Shame list, and is currently listed as the 12th worst game on the platform.
DICE design boss, Fawzi Mesmar even resigned from the company shortly after Battlefield 2042 was released. However, he argued that his resignation had been planned for a long time.
EA itself was previously said to be free of Battlefields 2042 due to this problem. Because two months after it was released, not only the number of sales decreased, but the number of players continued to decrease.
Drastic changes to the business model in this game are not new. Previously there was also PUBG: Battlegrounds which turned into free to play, but still compensated players who had already purchased the game.
Supposedly, if EA really turns Battlefield 2042 into free-to-play, they will also provide similar compensation.
