4 Characteristics of the Night of Lailatulqadar, a Night Full of Glory and Blessing!

One of the privileges of the month of Ramadan for Muslims is the presence of a night full of glory, known as the night of Lailatulqadar. Allah SWT first revealed revelation to the Prophet Muhammad through the angel Gabriel that night.

Launching CNN, this night of Lailatulqadar is so special because of the opportunity for someone to get blessings on that night. He will receive a double reward.

The privilege of Lailatulqadar has been explained by Allah SWT in the Qur'an Al Qadar verses 3-5, which means "The night of glory is better than a thousand months. On that night the angels and the angel Gabriel descended with the permission of his Lord to manage all affairs. That night ( full) welfare until dawn."

Although no one knows when the night of Lailatulqadar will come except Allah SWT, its signs can be understood based on a number of hadiths. The following are the characteristics of the night of Lailatulqadar:

1. There is Air and a Calm Atmosphere

The first characteristics of Lailatulqadar are the air and the atmosphere that feels calm. This refers to a hadith whose source is from Ibn Abbas RA, that the Messenger of Allah said:

"Lailatulqadar is a peaceful and calm night, not too hot and not too cold, the next morning the sun rises with a weak red light."

"Lailatulqadar is a clear night, not hot, not cold, no clouds, no rain, no strong winds and nothing is thrown that night with stars (meteor throws for Satan)."

2. The Sun's Light is Weakening

Another characteristic based on another hadith is that when the sun's light weakens, it does not shine strongly the next day but remains bright. This refers to a hadith whose source is from Ubay bin Ka'ab RA, that the Prophet SAW said:

"The next day at night, the sun rises up high without a tray of light." (HR. Muslim).

3. Sometimes Get Carried In Dreams

As experienced by some of the prophet's companions, the night of Lailatulqadar can also sometimes be carried away in dreams. If a person dreams about the night of Lailatulqadar, then this is a sign of his presence.

4. Feel the Pleasure of Worship

The characteristics of the last night of Lailatulqadar is when Muslims who worship at that night feel peace of heart or pleasure when praying to Allah SWT. This feeling didn't happen the previous nights.

The founder of the Center for the Study of the Qur'an, M. Quraish Shihab, explained that Lailatulqadar is described as a greeting of peace until dawn. The night of Lailatulqadar calms a person's heart, and makes him feel peaceful and serene.

In addition, the angels will descend on the night of Lailatulqadar, and guide those who get it to goodness.
