Bank Negara Malaysia today announced the recipients of digital banking licenses in Malaysia, which are five parties.
The five recipients are:
Konsortium Boost Holdings Sdn. Bhd. and RHB Bank Berhad;
The consortium led by GXS Bank Pte. Ltd. and Kuok Brothers Sdn. Bhd;
A consortium led by Sea Limited and YTL Digital Capital Sdn Bhd.
Consortium of AEON Financial Service Co., Ltd., AEON Credit Service (M) Berhad and MoneyLion Inc ,;
The consortium led by KAF Investment Bank Sdn. Bhd.
Previously, a total of 29 parties have applied for digital banking licenses in Malaysia. With this announcement, we will be able to see the introduction of digital banking by technology companies soon.
