The end of Ramadan is a time when some of the highly anticipated special moments occur. One of them is the night of Lailatulqadar.

Lailatulqadar night is an event that will only occur in the holy month of Ramadan. The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said that all the acts of worship performed on this night will be multiplied equal to a thousand months.

Lailatul Qadar is the last 10 nights of the holy month of Ramadan. No doubt, all Muslims will flock to increase their worship in the final nights of Ramadan.

However, many women worry, what if we experience menstruation or childbirth in the last 10 days of Ramadan? Can women still get the night of Lailatulqadar?

Can Menstruating Women Get Lailatulqadar Night? This is the practice!

In the book "Guarantee to Get Lailatul Qadar" by Ahmad Sarwat, it is explained that women who are menstruating or postpartum still have the opportunity to get the night of Lailatulqadar. Although the practice that can be done is limited.

When women are menstruating or postpartum, they cannot feel the benefits of fasting, praying and reading the Qur'an. However, there are other practices that women can still do to get the reward of the night of Lailatulqadar.

So what can women do? Here are 3 practices that women can still do even though she is in her period of menstruation or childbirth.

1. Dhikr

One of the acts of worship that can be done by women who are menstruating or postpartum is dhikr. The scholars agree that it is permissible for women to do remembrance with lafaz iqtibaz or verses from the Qur'an without reading them directly, even if they are in an impure condition.

Dhikr itself can bring peace in humans. According to the command of remembrance in the Qur'an sura Ar-Rad verse 28,

"(namely) those who believe and their hearts find peace in the remembrance of Allah. Remember, only in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find peace."

2. Pray

Praying is a practice that women can do even in an impure condition from hadast. Praying is worship.

Regularly reading prayers in the final nights of Ramadan can be a way for us to get the night of Lailatulqadar.

3. Study Religion

Worship is not just having to read the Qur'an. Studying religious knowledge is also a worship that is highly glorified by Allah SWT.

For a woman who is menstruating or giving birth, studying religious knowledge can be an act of worship that can be done on the night of Lailatulqadar. Hadith narrated by Muslim says,

"Whoever follows a path in search of knowledge, Allah will make easy for him the path to Paradise."

Those are some of the practices that women who are menstruating or postpartum can still do. Let's increase worship, so that we all get the glory of the night of Lailatulqadar in the month of Ramadan 2022.
