Snap Has No Plans To Build A Multimesta Platform

Facebook is willing to change the company’s name to Meta simply to show their commitment to the development of its own metamesta platform. Billions have been spent to make Mark Zuckerberg’s dream come true. Other social media platforms have yet to share whether they will offer the same features.

But in an interview with the Daily Mail during yesterday’s Snap Partner Summit event, Snap CTO Bobby Murphy said the company has no plans to build their own metamesta platform.

Instead the company will focus on the world of augmented reality (AR). At the same event Snap Even founder Spiegel said the idea of metamesta itself is still unclear and hypothetical. With over 300 million daily active users on Snap, Spiegel said hundreds of millions of platform users interact with the AR world. This is in the form of Snapchat Lens which is eye popular so it is imitated by other platforms.

Last year Snap Spectacles 4 was launched with AR capabilities combining a virtual world with a virtual reality world. Snap is currently developing new Spectacles that are enhanced in its capabilities.
