HoYoverse, the developer behind Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3, announced their newest game titled Zenless Zone Zero. This action RPG genre game is set in a world that was destroyed by a supernatural disaster called Hollows.
In this game, players take on the role of a Proxy, a professional who guides people through Hollows. Players are tasked with helping them explore Hollows, fight monsters, and achieve their goals.
"We would like to invite players to discover New Eridu, the last refuge for urban civilization due to disaster," said HoYoverse in an official statement, as quoted by IGN, Monday (16/5/2022).
"Together with a different group of partners, they will fight together and unravel the mysteries of this post-apocalyptic world."
HoYoverse also released a trailer for Zoneless Zone Zero which shows some of the characters in the game and their designs that feature a futuristic world in an anime style. The characters featured in the trailer include Unagi, Billy, Anbi, and NosTradamus.
Each character has its own abilities and weapons. Like NosTradamus who carries a mobile railgun, Billy with his two pistols, and Unagi who carries a sword.
"In addition to an interesting story, this 3D anime-style game features a cinematic and fluid action-oriented combat system," said HoYoverse.
