The biggest issue when we rely entirely on living online is that we need to have multiple accounts for each site or service. This makes the process of ensuring account security also difficult. At Google I/O this morning, Google announced a new Safety Status security feature that will display a warning icon if a vulnerability in a user’s Google account is detected.
A yellow warning badge icon will appear on the Google account icon when a new vulnerability is detected. Through this feature the user will be aware of issues that may exist and immediately resolve them before more serious problems occur. Suggestions are also given to users on what can be done to keep the account back safe.
