Touch n Go eWallet has been back in the Apple AppStore app store since yesterday, and the question for many is what changes are brought and make the app removed from the app store.
It’s not known if it’s related or otherwise, but the face recognition feature appears to have been removed on the iOS version of the app.
According to TNG, they said the face recognition feature is being upgraded for iOS users. This may be in line with Apple’s policy of requiring authentication locally, rather than on a server and so on.
The latest TNG app update for iOS no longer includes face recognition settings, and requires pin -only verification.
For now, it’s not yet known when the face recognition feature will return on iOS. For Android users, this feature still remains as usual.
