Twitter today began providing the Twitter Circle feature that has been chopped up over the past few months. Through this Twitter Circle feature, users can limit the tweets sent to be seen by a small group of only 150 manually selected followers.
With this topic discussion can be done more privately without the intervention of other unknown users. It's similar to the Google Circle feature, which also restricts conversations to group members only. Currently Twitter Circle is only given to a small number of users for testing.
