To iPhone users who are still running the iOS 10 and iOS 11 operating systems, there is a bit of bad news for you this morning. According to WABetaInfo, support for these two operating systems will no longer continue starting October 24.
Only iOS devices 12 and above will be supported after that date. Among the devices that will be affected are the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5C which were launched almost 10 years ago. To continue using WhatsApp the owner of this vintage device will need to purchase a new device. For Android users, WhatsApp will continue to be supported on devices with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and above.
