Boeing Starliner Finally Successfully Launched And Docked At ISS

The Boeing Starliner spacecraft is one of the systems used by NASA to send crews to the International Space Station (ISS) after the Space Shuttle stopped operating nearly a decade ago. Some of the tests that were supposed to be carried out had to be postponed several times due to issues with the rockets used.

Last weekend the Starliner was finally successfully launched from Cape Canaveral with the spacecraft sent without any human crew. Then the Starliner continued its journey to the ISS and anchored using a self -guided system.

This Orbital Flight Test-2 (OFT-2) mission is the first to run smoothly. The OFT-1 mission in 2019 was canceled and it returned to earth after the capsule was launched into the wrong orbit making it fail to anchor with the ISS.
