You Can Now Request the Removal of Personal Information from Google Search

One of the disadvantages of living in the post -Internet age is that personal information may have been shared online. It is then stored by Google and can be easily searched. But we now realize some personal information shouldn’t be easily displayed with a Google search. If you do not want personal information to be displayed by Google, you can now request that it be deleted.

Users can request that sensitive information such as home addresses, personal emails and phone numbers that appear in Search be deleted. This will be done through the Google App app in the next few months. Previously Google Images introduced a feature of images of users under the age of 18 being deleted to protect privacy.

With this feature frequent doxxing problems can be avoided. However, Google will only prevent this personal information from appearing in search results.
