Apple iOS 16 Not Supported On iPhone 6s And iPhone 7

Apple today officially introduced iOS 16, and it will be offered on a number of iPhones starting September or October.

Anyway, with the introduction of the new operating system, Apple has become accustomed to ending support for older generation iPhones. Through iOS 16, Apple also ended support for some iPhone models.

Among the models that will no longer be supported with iOS 16 are the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone SE (Gen-1), iPhone 7 and even iPhone 7 Plus.

This in turn leads to your need to use the iPhone 8 and latest, as well as the second and latest generation iPhone SE to use this iOS 16 operating system.
