Elon Musk has now announced to all employees at Tesla, that they will reduce their paid workforce by 10% - due to them having overemployment in various divisions.
Regardless, Elon Musk says they won’t lay off workers on the car development, battery, or solar installation parts.
By the end of 2021, Tesla states it has 99,920 employees, and this reduction is seen to have an impact on nearly 10,000 employees.
Prior to this, too, Elon Musk had asked all employees to return to work in the office, or choose to leave Tesla.
