The Google Pixel 6A is Google’s next mid-range device that many are looking forward to. It is the first Pixel-A series device with a new design, which is inspired by the Pixel 6 with a camera bar. It’s also a mid -range Google device with a chip equivalent to the flagship device, the Google Tensor.
The device was unveiled during the Google I/O 2022 event, last May and pre-orders for the device will start on July 21 in the United States with a sale price of $ 449, which is around RM1966. But a Malaysian YouTuber has gained access to this device and did an unboxed video as well as giving his initial opinion on it.
In this video, Fazli Halim claims that the camera quality is a little disappointing. But the big issue with the previous Pixel 6, which was the slow fingerprint scanner - seems to have gotten better. He also stated that the user experience looks better than the Pixel 6, without any time lag problems. Many Pixel 6 features are also available in this device, including Real Tone.
Fazli did not specify where he got this device. But it's a bit early, considering that even in America pre-orders start in July with delivery estimates starting around August. The price he bought was around RM2200, which is not much different from the original price of $ 449, which is around RM1966.
The Pixel 6a comes with a 6.1-inch OLED screen, bottom-screen fingerprint scanner, 6GB of RAM memory and 128GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. It is also powered by the same Google Tensor chip as the Pixel 6. On the back it uses a 12.2+12 Megapixel camera and an 8 Megapixel selfie camera. The battery is 4306mAh with 18W charging.
The device in the video is seen running the latest Android 12, but it's not sure which security version.
