On OnePlus phones, one of the iconic things included is the "Alert Slider" support, which is a physical notification switch included on the side - to make it easier for you to silence the phone when in some situations - for example during a meeting.
Now there are rumors that OnePlus may remove the iconic switch, and only include it on the model version "Pro" only.
Similar rumors say Oppo will also include more or less the same features on their smartphones.
Since OnePlus operates entirely under Oppo, a number of changes are present, and it is likely that many will not be surprised if OnePlus removes this button on their smartphones.
