Today, the Sony Bravia XR 2022 TV series is being offered in Malaysia with the use of OLED panels and Android TV operating system. Apart from this premium class television, Sony Malaysia also announced that the Sony Bravia Core streaming service was also launched once for local users.
Sony Bravia Core offers streaming video content at a quality comparable to 4K Blu Ray at 80 Mbps through Pure Stream technology. This allows higher visual quality to be enjoyed by customers compared to around 15-25 Mbps on a regular 4K streaming service.
Unfortunately, the Bravia Core can only be accessed through the latest Sony Bravia XR television and can only stream movies under the built in Sony Pictures only. Buyers of the Sony Bravia XR in Malaysia will receive a free subscription for one year. The subscription price after this trial period has not yet been announced by Sony Malaysia.
