Telegram is one of the most popular cross-platform messaging apps and is regularly updated with new features.
Now Telegram plans to launch a subscription-based service called Telegram Premium, users who subscribe will be given exclusive features that are not present in regular Telegram.
Back in 2021, Telegram founder Pavel Durov confirmed that they were exploring new ways to place ads inside public channel posts.
According to Telegram, Telegram's experimental ads will be small posts with a limit of only 160 characters and won't include external links, but ads will have links to specific channels.
In addition to the official ads on the messaging app, Telegram is also bringing a new premium subscription to the messaging app.
Telegram Premium itself is already active in beta for Android devices. Unfortunately, Telegram has not provided more complete information regarding this subscription service.
Launching from Bleeping Computer, Friday (10/6/2022) Telegram Premium will be priced at around USD 4.99.
With the price of this package, Telegram Premium users will be given many features such as file transfers up to 4Gb, voice message conversion to text, ad-free, premium emoji and stickers, to animated avatars.
