Apple will officially introduce the iPhone 14 series around September or October, and in parallel, some initial information related to the smartphone is starting to be heard.
Most recently, Bloomberg once again stressed that the iPhone 14 will remain using the same processing chip as on last year’s iPhone.
According to reports present today, the iPhone 14 is expected to use the Apple A15 chip, and only the iPhone 14 Pro series will receive a processing chip update to the Apple A16.
This will also make it the first time Apple hasn’t upgraded the processing chip on the iPhone. Previously, every year it would be updated with a new processing chip while offering higher processing power.
Perhaps several factors led to this, including due to the constraints on semiconductor production experienced around the world. In addition, Apple may also this year focus more on the Mac chip than the iPhone for upgrade purposes.
Anyway, let's wait and see in the next few months to see what Apple's reasons are for not upgrading their processing chip on the iPhone 14 in the future.
