The FCC Now Allows Starlink To Provide Internet To Mobile Vehicles

The Federal Communications Commission, the U.S. telecommunications body recently reportedly gave Starlink permission to supply internet connections to mobile vehicles.

The announcement will surely delight Elon Musk and SpaceX as they have previously signed agreements with airlines and shipping to supply internet services in the airspace.

With this permission, Starlink is seen to be able to provide internet services to various other transport companies such as boats, buses, lorries and so on. Starlink’s satellite internet service is arguably the only company that is growing rapidly globally.

Starlink has now launched 2700 satellites globally, and has already begun activating them for a number of countries around the world. Starlink is also expected to introduce their satellite internet service in Malaysia by 2023.

Whether it will also be offered to Malaysian land and air transport companies when it is launched here, it is still unknown at this time.
