Android 13 Users On Pixel 6 Not Allowed To Downgrade To Android 12

Android 13 stable version is finally distributed for users of Pixel devices. This update comes with more interface customization controls to further personalize the device according to the user's taste.

This new Android version also brings more new features like Bluetooth LE connectivity, better connected device control, quick access to QR scanner, more optimized for large screen devices like tablets and more. Currently only Pixel 4 and above users can use it.

While other devices should wait for device manufacturers to distribute updates in stages.

As always, the new version of the operating system will also have better security. Specifically for Google Pixel 6, 6 Pro and 6a users, Google has implemented the Rollback Protection feature. After updating to Android 13, the device's bootloader is also updated for user protection.

Through it, users of these three Pixel devices can no longer downgrade to Android 12 even if it is a stable version. Even if reformat the device and install using the image file is also not allowed.

For developers using Android 13 AOSP version, it is necessary to ensure that this version of Android is installed to both memory slots A/B. Otherwise, the device can be further damaged and cannot be repaired or restored.
