Tesla previously shared their ideas in the development of a human-shaped robot, named Optimus. After breaking before, now Elon Musk once again said they are working hard to complete their robot prototype as early as September 2022.
Tesla is expected to show the robot in September, parallel to their annual event, AI Day.
For now, it is not known what will be offered through this first Tesla prototype robot. Previously, it was shared that this robot will help humans in doing repetitive tasks, making it easier for humans to focus on more important things.
It has also been speculated that the robot business under Tesla may eventually surpass their electric cars, if the robot offering is attractive and attracts industry interest.
