This morning Elon Musk announced his interest in buying Manchester United football club. The announcement was made suddenly without knowing whether he was really serious or just joking.
But previously he also seemed to be joking when he expressed his desire to buy Twitter before suddenly saying he would withdraw after claiming that the social media platform was not transparent about the number of non-human users. Both parties are now suing each other because of the purchase they want to cancel.
Manchester United is a very famous club but they haven't won the league in a long time. They started the 2022/2023 EPL season with two heavy defeats against weak teams, prompting supporters to urge the owners from the Glazers to sell the club to avoid the club continuing to fall behind other EPL clubs.
