Xiaomi Mijia AR Glass Successfully Collected Funds Reaching Over RM6.5 Million


 In early August, Xiaomi introduced their own augmented reality glasses under the Mijia brand, Mijia AR Glass. Xiaomi has yet to sell these glasses to the public, instead raising funds through their crowdfunding site Youpin.


As of today, Xiaomi has managed to raise more than 10 million Yuan which is around RM6.5 million. This means that around 4,000 people have joined this crowdfunding to make this Mijia AR Glass theirs.



Mijia AR Glass comes with a 0.23-inch OLED micro screen with freeform lighting technology, has a 50+8 Megapixel dual-camera with OIS and 5x optical zoom. Users can use gesture controls to control the watch interface, have a built-in Xiao AI digital assistant and to power these glasses are powered by a Snapdragon 8 chip that has an eight-core CPU.


Like Oppo, these glasses are also limited to the Chinese market and it is not certain when they will be sold more widely.
