In the near future, OPPO will launch the latest Reno series, namely OPPO Reno8 to the market. Like the leaks uploaded on OPPO's social media, the Reno 8 will most likely launch in August 2022.
Various advantages of Reno8 began to be introduced to the public. If on July 26 last OPPO introduced its first NPU MariSilicon X, which will be embedded in the OPPO Reno8, then today OPPO has again provided an explanation of the design of the Reno8 device.
In its design, OPPO will bring a camera module design with a single glass which was first applied to the OPPO Find X3 Pro device. Later designs like this became popular among smartphone vendors and were used on various devices.
OPPO continues to develop this new design on the Find X5 Pro device and is now also present on the OPPO Reno8 device. This design has been perfected more than 100 times and took more than 400 days to research and develop.
The back is made of Gorilla Glass glass material forged with high temperature and pressure. In order to ensure that the molded glass feels smooth and avoids an uneven surface, the molded glass must go through three polishing steps before the glass is tempered.
The glass is heated to a temperature of 800 °C which exceeds the standard temperature in the glass forging process. After being forged, the glass is put into a mold and pressurized up to 120 kg.
The glass then goes through eight nanometer-scale polishing steps that ensure a nanometer level of smoothness. The front and back of the OPPO Reno8 device glass will be thoroughly polished with a high level of precision so that the glass back cover looks and feels very smooth.
OPPO also continues to put forward the camera in the latest generation of Reno this time by embedding two very large camera module circles on the back inspired by the shape of a vintage film camera.
In addition to introducing the OPPO Reno8 Pro 5G equipped with the MariSilicon X NPU, OPPO today also introduced the OPPO Reno8 5G series. Both carry a similar design language, an affirmation of the superiority of the camera.
Both devices have more or less the same camera features, promoting night portrait features as well as clearer video capture in low light conditions. The difference is that the Reno8 Pro 5G has superior capabilities, especially the Ultra Night Video and Ultra HDR Video features that support 4K format.
OPPO plans to re-introduce the Reno8 series family on August 11, 2022, following its official launch on the market. The OPPO Reno8 series will be OPPO's weapon starting in the third quarter.
