Leica expanded their collaboration into the television industry after signing an agreement with Hisense. Through this collaboration, Leica will produce lenses for Hisense laser projector TVs. Hisense's audio visual expertise will be combined with Leica's lens expertise to produce a high quality short throw projector.
The first collaboration will be seen on the Leica Cine 1 a short throw projector TV that will be launched at the IFA event this September. Speaking of Leica, the Xiaomi 12S series equipped with Leica lenses has been confirmed not to be marketed in Malaysia.
