Microsoft Office on iPad Now Supports "Scribble" Handwriting Feature

Among the reasons to this day I love using the iPad and dare to claim that the iPad is the best tablet, because of iPadOS. A good enough operating system for multi-tasking use, good application support and most importantly satisfactory Apple Pencil stylus support.

Since iPadOS 14 was introduced, Apple also came with the Scribble feature. It is a feature of handwriting on text fields and converting them into typed characters.

This feature is still limited in use on many applications by Apple and recognized by Apple. But slowly more and more third-party applications support it for wider use and don't waste an iPad and Apple Pencil.

Recently, the Office application by Microsoft for iPadOS has been updated with Scribble support. Users can use Apple Pencil to enter text or edit words by simply writing by hand in Word, PowerPoint or Excel.

This feature will be present in Office application version 2.64 which can now be tested via Testflight. The stable version is expected to be distributed to all within the next few weeks.
