Spotify has been increasingly focusing on podcasts for the past few years. The brand is no longer just a music streaming platform, but wants to offer more content to increase the number of customers.
Recently the Spotify interface was updated by separating music and podcast content. Now, they are testing the voice recorder feature that continues to be built into the application as well.
If you are wondering what this feature is included for. It is to record the user's reaction after listening to music. This voice recording can then be slightly edited by adding background music for example and then it will be published as a podcast for their streaming platform.
This feature is currently still in testing in a small group. Sources say this feature appears to be available for select users in Vietnam. But it is not sure if this feature will be offered to all.
