This year artificial intelligence that generates image backgrounds based on text input went viral on social media. Dall.E by OpenAI is the most widely known for its accuracy in automatically generating images that are then freely used by users for commercial purposes. TikTok today announced an AI Greenscreen feature with similar features.
Users can write text and Greenscreen's AI will then automatically generate a background image that can then be used in videos uploaded to the platform. To access the Greenscreen AI, go to the Effects tab and then to Greenscreen. AI Greenscreen is among the filters in the top line.
In our tests AI Greenscreen did not produce very accurate images and looked very abstract. The feature also malfunctioned several times with the app saying it was busy and the user had to try several times to get the AI generated picture.
