Today, in addition to introducing the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 and Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro – Xiaomi also launched their new wearable device, the Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro. Is it their new premium smartwatch that they want to pair with the Mix Fold 2.
This watch uses a round 1.47-inch OLED screen with a size of 46mm and is protected by sapphire glass. With this new watch design, Xiaomi also introduced several new watch faces for premium themes that take inspiration from luxury mechanical watches. The watch also has an Apple Watch-like rotary knob for added control.
The watch is powered by an undisclosed 12nm processing chip, but they claim great performance and a battery life of up to 14 days. This watch also supports wireless fast charging with 10 minutes of charging promising up to 2 days of durability.
For the operating system, Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro uses the new MIUI Watch which is not like the previous Mi Watch which is Wear OS. But this MIUI Watch takes a lot of inspiration from Wear OS for control and app support.
The watch offers access to the Xiaomi app store, has NFC, GPS, supports over 100 sports modes, skin temperature sensor, pulse scanner, SpO2 reading and sleep monitoring. The watch can also play music and support digital assistant Xiao Ai.
The selling price of Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro is RMB 1,499 which is around RM989. Several watch strap options are also offered to suit the user's clothing and the premium watch face they want to use.
