Apple Includes Satellite-Based Emergency SOS Support On iPhone 14

Along with the introduction of the iPhone 14 today, Apple also announced a new communication feature on the smartphone, which is emergency SOS support through the use of satellites.

With this step, users can send an emergency SOS to the relevant parties when they are in an offline area. The user needs to point the iPhone to a nearby satellite, and then after it connects, the user can send an emergency SOS.

Apple says this feature will be introduced to users in the United States and Canada first starting in November. This service is offered free of charge for two years by Apple.
