The issue of data leakage of the countries' citizens does not seem to be resolved anytime soon. If a few months ago the data of Malaysians was sold on the dark web arena, now it seems that it is Indonesia's turn.
Recently it was discovered that around 105 million Indonesian citizens' data, including personal identification cards, family card numbers, full names, birthplaces, dates of birth, gender and age have been leaked and are likely to be sold in the dark web arena.
Based on the screenshots, the leaked data seems to come from the General Election Commission, which seems to hold the same responsibility as the Election Commission in Malaysia.
This data leak is also seen to have happened only recently, and contains a total of 20GB of data of the country's citizens.
