Signal in my personal opinion is the most boring messaging platform. It's a bit barebones like WhatsApp at the beginning, but has a lot of features and functions focused on user data security.
Meredith Whittaker, a former manager at Google, has now become the president of Signal. Meredith is one of the most prominent people in the industry. He left Google due to sexual harassment issues and later developed the AI Now Institute for the study of ethical artificial intelligence systems.
As President of Signal, Meredith will also hold the position of chief executive officer. Signal's new future is eco-friendly and green and to ensure that these 40 million active users can be handled.
The new president of Signal also stated that this new position is a new challenge, because millions of users to handle without collecting data is very challenging. He will also try to make Signal more popular and widely used.
