Insta360 X3 Launches With Better 360° Recording Capabilities And Larger Screen

Since its launch, the Insta360 X series has offered the ability to record 360° videos that are quite interesting with features such as deleting the selfie stick from the video and the ease of editing videos directly from within the device to share to social media. After almost two years after the Insta360 X2 was launched, today the Insta360 X3 was finally revealed.

This year's camera is still present with a compact body design that is easy to hold but with a larger 2.29″ square screen instead of the round screen of the previous model. The 1/2″ 48MP f/1.9 sensor is used this time to take brighter videos with more vibrant colors. Timelapse mode in 8K resolution is also supported.

It can still record videos at 5.7K 360° resolution and 72MP stills. A new feature introduced is the ability to record normal video at 4K 30p resolution or 2.7K ultra wide 170 degrees. The FlowState stabilization system is maintained to record videos that are always stable even when performing extreme actions.

The 1800 mAh battery provides a recording time of up to 81 minutes while the body passes the IPX8 standard and can be taken diving up to 33 meters. The retail price for the basic kit is £459.99 (~RM2377) and rises to £604.99 (~RM3127) for the Ultimate Kit.
