Twitter is currently testing a share button directly to WhatsApp - limited to India.
With this move, it allows users to share a Tweet directly to WhatsApp faster – compared to the previous requirement which required selecting the share button and then selecting WhatsApp.
Twitter is seen testing this feature in India as the country has over 400 million active WhatsApp users.
This WhatsApp button also replaces the use of the regular share button – and may make it difficult if users want to share through other mediums.
For now, this feature is just a test, and it is not known whether it will be expanded, or the test will end.
