Yesterday, NVIDIA launched two new GeForce RTX 4000 series graphics cards, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 with 16GB and 12GB GDDR6X memory options.
Just like their previous graphics cards, especially for the RTX 1000-3000, these graphics cards will also come with a Founders Edition option that comes with NVIDIA's own special design. For the RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 models, they are seen to come with cooling blocks and larger cooling fans.
Both of these graphics cards also come with the use of a new 16-pin ATX 3.0 PCIe 5.0 power plug, allowing as much as 450W of electrical power to flow to these graphics cards using only one cable.
According to NVIDIA, only the GeForce RTX 4090 and GeForce RTX 4080 graphics cards with 16GB of memory will come with the Founders Edition model and will be sold starting October 12 for the RTX 4090 and in November for the RTX 4080 model. The RTX 4080 model with 12GB of memory will only be sold through graphics card developers such as ASUS, MSI, GIGABYTE and so on.
