It's been difficult for years, just using the iPhone videos uploaded to social media are of the highest quality compared to most Android devices. Now, the iPhone still reigns supreme despite its age - but some Android devices are starting to offer high quality video when shared to social media like Samsung's flagship devices.
Some Pixel devices also support this ability because they have Social Share and Social Media Depth Features. Now it continues again with the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, but with better quality and it is dedicated to those who are active on Snapchat and TikTok.
Snapchat and TikTok will support showing 10-bit HDR videos recorded on the Pixel 7 series.

Using the Pixel 7 or Pixel 7 Pro, users can upload 10-bit HDR video footage to Snapchat and TikTok to deliver a more professional-looking video quality with sharper, brighter colors and better preservation of details.
This is part of Google's strategy to update their Camera2 API to support HDR video recording. Now exclusive to the two new Pixel devices, in the future it may be offered to more devices.
