A number of advertisers stopped buying ads on Twitter after Elon Musk's acquisition

Earlier we reported that Twitter experienced a drop in revenue as a number of advertisers stopped buying ads on the social media platform. Recently, Reuters has reported that among those advertisers include Stellantis, Gilead and its subsidiary Kite.

Twitter owner Elon Musk has said that this is because activists have forced advertisers not to give money to Twitter after the acquisition by the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX.

However, this latest revelation from Reuters shows that the reason why these companies stop advertising on the platform at this time is more about the issue of the company's policy, which is expected to change in the near future.

Advertising companies typically consider the content and community policies of a social media platform before deciding to spend ad dollars, which can run into millions of dollars.

Elon Musk is now seen implementing a number of new policies, in addition to cutting the jobs of hundreds of their employees, and it is not surprising to see advertising companies to wait until the company is more stable before they go back to spending money on the company.
