AMD Ryzen Threadripper Zen 4 Expected to Come With 96 Cores

 


After launching the AMD Ryzen 7000 series of processing chips and AMD Radeon RX 7000 graphics cards, it's the turn of their productivity and industrial class processing chips, namely AMD Ryzen Threadripper.


Threadripper processing chips typically come with a large number of cores and power threads to accelerate productivity tasks such as 3D graphics processing, computational tasks, tasks that require high processing power and so on.



Details of the Ryzen Threadripper 7000 CPU which also comes with the code name Storm Peak and is seen to come with at least three models, including a choice of 64 cores and 128 power threads and two models with 96 cores and 192 power threads.


In terms of other specifications, it is also seen with support for a DDR5 memory system with 12-channel, 160 PCIe 5.0 channels that can connect up to 10 graphics cards or more PCIe 5.0 SSD storage.


It is expected that AMD will sell this CPU in a ready-to-use computer system when it goes on the market, and will only be sold on its own in the future.
