Skyworth is famous for offering a wide variety of smart televisions including its product line in the Malaysian market. Now as many as three more variations of new smart televisions that were shown by them in an event that took place a while ago. This includes the Skyworth Wallpaper TV series consisting of the Skyworth Q53 and Q53 Pro. Then followed by Skyworth W82 Transformable OLED TV and Skyworth Mini LED 65SUE8800.
We start with the Skyworth Q53 and Q53 Pro. As the name suggests, it is a television with a thin body that can be attached to the wall surface like wallpaper. This approach not only saves space in the house, but it also looks more beautiful and neat. Interestingly, it can also be installed with a special frame to make it look like a picture frame that decorates the wall of the house.
There are up to eight screen size options available which include 55″, 65″, 75″, 86″ and 100″ for the Skyworth Q53 model. Meanwhile, the Skyworth Q53 Pro is available in 65″, 75″ and 86″ sizes. Apart from that, the screen also supports additional features such as 120Hz refresh rate, HDR+ support and Dolby Vision. The chip used is Cortex-A75 + A55 with Imagenation-BXE GPU matching, 4GB RAM memory and 128GB built-in storage.
Also included is a separate media hub that can also function as a bluetooth speaker. In addition, a web camera for the use of video calls and so on. The port provided consists of 1XHDMI 2.0 and 2XHDMI 21.
Next is the Skyworth W82 Transformable OLED TV. It is a 65-inch 4K 120Hz OLED television with a flexible screen that can be adjusted into two shapes – either curved or flat. This display was developed by Skyworth itself which allows users to adjust the curve of the screen according to the viewing distance. It can be changed using a dedicated controller that can present a curve from 1000R to 2000R (movie viewing mode) or 1500R in game mode.
Also included are some additional features such as Dolby Vision support, HDR10 and a dedicated imaging engine for a superior viewing experience. Also complementing it is Skyworth Audio Drum which is their own audio system for a more immersive audio experience. Not to be outdone, it also supports an HDMI 2.1 port for console support and Wi-Fi 6 for a stable internet connection.
Finally, the Skyworth Mini LED 65SUE8800 was also shown. It is offered in a 65-inch size with a slim television body. As the name suggests, it features a Mini-LED backlight with Quantum Dot technology for better color enhancement. Also complementing it, a screen with a 120Hz refresh rate that also supports Dolby Vision and an ambient light sensor. A dedicated remote control is also included, alongside an audio system that also supports Dolby Atmos.
According to a representative of Skyworth Malaysia, the Skyworth Wallpaper TV Q53/Q53 Pro and Skyworth W82 Transformable OLED TV series will not be offered for the Malaysian market. Meanwhile, the Skyworth Mini LED 65SUE8800 is expected to arrive around the end of next year.
