Qualcomm this week has already introduced their latest flagship processing chip, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. This chip will power a number of flagship and high-powered smartphones in 2023.
Even so, but through the benchmark tests carried out, it is seen that this chip has already lost to the Apple A16 Bionic chip offered through the iPhone 14 Pro.
Benchmark tests show Qualcomm's new chips are more powerful and faster, but still can't beat Apple's chips. Roughly speaking, it is seen that the performance is still behind around 25% compared to the Apple chip.
However, it is seen that Apple is leading in terms of performance, but in terms of other factors such as network connectivity and other features, Snapdragon is seen to be leading the market.
Could it be that we will see Qualcomm succeed in beating Apple in terms of chip performance next year through the use of their new technology?
