Digi And Celcom Shareholders Agree To Merge Company

The merger of the telecommunications companies Digi and Celcom is now nearing its end, when after receiving confirmation of permission from the SKMM, now the shareholders of Axiata Group and Digi have also agreed to merge the companies.

With this move, both telecommunication companies Digi and Celcom will merge to become Celcom Digi Berhad.

This will also make it the largest telecommunications company in Malaysia after the merger. In parallel, we will see a number of changes, including the impact on Yoodo which is being asked to be separated either for sale or to close its operations.

With this new development, let's all look forward to the next step by these two companies in forming a new giant in Malaysia.
