Apple's augmented reality glasses are predicted to go on sale from early 2023. It is seen as the most serious effort from Apple to offer a device for the meta-world to give competition to Meta. But now there are reports that it will be delayed to 2025 and 2026 at the latest.
This is according to the forecast of analyst Jeff Pu from Haitong International Tech Research. The quality issue has yet to be resolved by Apple at this time causing the delay. After the Air Power was canceled a few years ago after quality issues were not resolved, Apple couldn't let another product be announced before it was actually ready.
Augmented reality will be the basis of the metacity world with almost all technology companies planning to launch their own devices in the near future. So far some early efforts have not yet shown success due to the high cost of the device and lackluster graphics.
