The MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chip was announced a while ago and it is their most flagship chip to date. It is manufactured using TSMC's 4nm technology and equipped with 1x ARM Cortex-X3 3.05GHz CPU, 3x ARM Cortex-A715 2.85GHz CPU and 4x ARM Cortex-A510 1.8GHz CPU.
This is then paired with an Arm Mali-G715 Immortalis MC11 GPU with hardware Ray-Tracing. The supported resolutions are FHD+ 240Hz and WQHD 44Hz. Through the Helio M8 modem, it can use sub-6Ghz 5G networks as well as mmWave. Devices with this chip can also enjoy WiFi 7 networks.
In terms of performance, it provides an increase of up to 12% in the single-core test and 10% in the GeekBench 5 multi-core test compared to the Dimensity 9000. What has not been shared is what camera system can be used. The first devices with Dimensity 9200 will be on the market by the end of 2022.
