Oppo Reno9 And Reno9 Pro Also Announced With MariSilicon X And 120Hz OLED Screen


 Apart from the Oppo Reno9 Pro+, this series also received the presence of two other variants which include the Reno9 and Reno9 Pro. Both share a large number of things in common, both in terms of design and internal hardware. Significant differences can only be seen in the use of processing chips, camera systems, memory capacity and color options.



Where, the Reno9 uses a Snapdragon 778G chip, a main camera with 64MP + 2MP (portrait) settings, memory up to 12GB RAM and additional red color with a cute rabbit icon. Meanwhile, Reno9 Pro is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max, 50MP + 8MP (ultra-wide) main camera with MariSilicon X, memory up to 16GB RAM.



Other specifications are the same with a 6.7-inch OLED FHD+ screen that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The selfie camera setup is 32MP which is placed on the screen hole in the middle. The internal storage reaches 512GB, in addition to also loading a 4500mAh battery that supports a 67W wired charging system. Also included, WiFi 6 support, USB-C connection port, on-screen fingerprint scanner, bluetooth 5.3 support, NFC and running ColorOS 13 based on Android 13.




For the price, Oppo Reno9 is sold in China starting at RMB2499 (~RM1572) (8GB/256GB), RMB2699 (~RM1697) (12GB/256GB) and RMB2999 (~RM1886) (12GB/512GB). Meanwhile, Oppo Reno9 Pro+ starts at RMB3499 (~RM2200) (16GB/256GB) and RMB3799 (~RM2389) (16GB/512GB). No information about its availability for the Malaysian market is known so far.
