It seems that the popularity of the subscription form is not only limited to applications and phones, and is now being implemented by vehicle manufacturers. Most recently, Mercedes-Benz offers a speed boost in the form of a subscription.
Named "Acceleration Increase", it allows users to pay as much as $1200 a year to enjoy an acceleration rate of around 24% compared to normal.
This feature offer is available to Mercedes-EQ EQE and Mercedes-EQ EQS vehicle owners.
With this move, is it possible that the car manufacturer will limit a number of features behind the subscription?
