Last week, a video went viral of Foxconn factory workers in Zhengzhou trying to escape from being imposed a movement control order by the Chinese authorities. As a result, the Foxconn factory is experiencing a shortage of workers. Apple has today confirmed that production of the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max will be affected due to the zero Covid policy used in China.
Apple said that due to the high demand for these two models, the waiting period by purchasing the device will be longer than the current 3-4 weeks. They are having discussions with the supplier to resolve this issue.
The 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max models are getting more attention this year because the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus recycle the iPhone 13 chips from last year. If you want to buy the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max before the end of the year, orders should be placed now.
