Sharing files between Android devices is easy with Nearby Share. The problem is when sharing cross-platform, the shortcut is using WhatsApp.
But now there is an easy solution provided by Samsung. The South Korean tech giant has released an application called Samsung Dropship.
This is an app that makes it easy to share between Android, iOS devices and computers. Currently Doorship is still in Beta status, but can be downloaded at the Galaxy Store.
Dropship allows users to share files up to 5GB per day by uploading them from the host device. Later there will be a QR code that other people can scan to receive the file.
A little note the file sender must have an Android 13 device with One UI 5 and above - currently Galaxy S22 series exclusive and Samsung account.
For recipients it is not necessary to have the app or a registered Samsung account. They just scan the QR code to download the file automatically from their device.
