Sony and Honda are ready to announce their collaboration in the development of electric cars, and want to sell the first electric cars as early as 2026.
The electric car is expected to also integrate a number of content owned by Sony into it, including music, movies and even PlayStation 5 support itself. This will give Sony-Honda an advantage in competing with various other manufacturers, including Tesla.
Talking more about it through the Financial Times, it is said that integrating the PlayStation 5 platform into the car is technologically possible. In fact, other providers are not able to offer comprehensive content services like them.
With this move, it will differentiate the Sony-Honda car offering compared to various other vehicle providers in the market.
