Since Elon Musk took over Twitter, various new features have been announced to be offered on this social media platform. Among them are long text attachments, paid DMs for earning celebrities, paid video feature, edit button for all users, Verified feature via Twitter Blue and more. Most of them are through the Twitter Blue subscription with the new price of $7.99 per month.
Yesterday, the Twitter app on iOS began receiving updates in preparation for the new Twitter Blue access. In version 9.34.3, the changelog listed is the new price of Twitter Blue, the presence of the Blue checkmark feature, half the ads than usual, uploading long videos, priority on replying to tweets, mentions, and being less attacked by bots.
Twitter also lists the Verified feature which will only be supported in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the UK for now. In this update, all these features are not yet accessible and are still in the testing stage. The subscription price is still $4.99 or RM22.90 in Malaysia. The new price will probably reach more than RM38.
